Position: Custodial Maintenance Associate, Part-time (25 hrs./wk)Reports to: Business Manager and/or PastorLocation: St Francis Xavier Parish | Fort Myers, FLClassification: Hourly/Non-exempt OverviewParish is seeking a Part-time Custodial Maintenance Associate who will be responsible for all aspects of cleaning and basic maintenance for parish buildings and property.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms custodial cleaning of buildings and grounds; Walk parish grounds daily to pick up & dispose of any trash or debris, keeping grounds of property tidy at all times.Performs cleaning of property: vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, windows, bathroom sanitation & trash removal. Ordering of all sanitation and cleaning supplies/products. Performs light routine paint, electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry repairs, etc. along with preventative maintenance.Escorts outside contractors and vendors when needed. Set up and break down for all events. Any other duties or special projects as assigned by Pastor.High School diploma or equivalent.3-5 years of general custodian and maintenance experience. Understanding of safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste itemsWorking knowledge of building equipment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach continuously throughout day.Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, staff, and parishioners.Ability to work: Wednesday - Sunday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Must pass a post offer physical exam.
