The company has 26 operating mines and processing facilities and two additional exploration stage properties across the United States and is headquartered in Katy, Texas.The Maintenance clerk is responsible for entering requisitions, then following up to ensure PO was created and parts are ordered and work with personnel doing the receiving when parts arrive and ensure they have packing slips with the correct PO# written on them. Clerk will also enter work orders when necessary and help planner close them out. Clerk will also be responsible for the warehouse, keeping it clean and organized as well as ensuring inventory counts are correct and offloading trucks with parts when they come in and verifying parts delivery from warehouse. They will also work with the planner to kit parts for work orders. Clerk will be responsible for contacting vendors for rental equipment and necessary repairs with rental equipment.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Entering requisitions and following up to ensure a PO is issued. Entering and closing work orders when necessary to help planner.
  • Working with vendors on rentals and getting quotes.
  • Keeping warehouse clean and organized.
  • Unloading trucks and verifying warehouse deliveries.
  • Working with receiver to ensure parts are being received correctly.
  • Assist with kitting of parts.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Able and willing to work in an industrial environment, may be exposed to heat, cold, noise and dirt.
  • Five (5) years in similar capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Solid background in Maintenance Programs, preferably JDE.
  • Must be able to lift weight unaided of up to 50 pounds, higher weights using equipment such as pallets jacks and forklifts.
  • Knowledge of maintenance work process a plus.
  • Must be a motivated self- starter with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Customer service experience managing relations a plus.
  • Knowledge of supplies and equipment and their usage.
  • Works with vendors to order and receive rental parts in a timely manner
