The Assistant Engineer provides assistance with various maintenance projects including operating, maintaining, and inspecting facility equipment in accordance with written, posted and industry standards. Performs regular inspections and reports findings with recommendations to management.

Daily duties of this role are coordinating service work for all field personnel through, dispatching service calls, payroll for field staff time sheets, coordinate with Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time. May have to drive to sites at times to assist the Project Manager with any onsite administrative duties. Manage and provide access to necessary supportive services in the community, provide case management services as needed and requested
**Qualifications:**
3+ years of service work, dispatching, coordinating with administrative duties.
High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years front office, reception and/or administrative experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including extensive telephone experience.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word processing 50 wpm minimum, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher), Windows-based operating systems, and Adobe (Acrobat and Photoshop).
General knowledge of construction projects preferred, but not required.
Professional manner and appearance with positive attitude and strong initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be diplomatic with tenants, vendors and customers and be able to cope with difficult situations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage diverse business needs and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environment with limited supervision.
Treats all staff, co-workers, tenants, and other customers in a courteous and professional manner.
A team player, willing to learn new functions and assist others as needed.
