Overview: Under the direction and supervision of the Mission Support director the maintenance coordinator will be responsible for the direction of the maintenance staff, assigning necessary work direction for all facilities in the family of Parishes, St Augustine, Holy Family, and St Mary Mystical Rose. Regular and routine responsibilities: Meet with maintenance employees regularly to hand out work assignments Be responsible to guide all employees in safe work habits and training Use work order system to establish priority of work and schedule for repairs in a timely manner Be responsible for keeping time records for employees and do semi-annual reviews for employees. Report any unusual maintenance requirements/repairs to the Mission Support director. Follow up with inventory reports Maintain records for inspections of fire equipment and all other necessary inspections including electrical, mechanical, elevator and boiler inspections and licensing Be responsible for budgets for maintenance at the three campuses along with inventory tracking and supply storage Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for the various continual concerns at all campuses Contractors Seek out contractor bidding for annual maintenance, including lawn care, snow removal and any capital building projects Coordinate timing to allow opening and closing of buildings necessary for contractor work to be done. Qualifications Associate degree with 3-5 years of work experience in operations and maintenance of commercial facilities. Knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical repairs and heating and cooling systems are essential. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 4 feet high. Have strong organizational skills and be a self-starter. Be competent with computer inventory programs and other necessary functions. Supervisory experience 3-5 years in an industrial setting with experience is scheduling and maintaining time records, inventory resupply, and safety training of employees. Must have a clear background check and fulfill and pass training on Virtus for the protection of children and adults.
