Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator 1

Hourly Rate of Pay: $31.66

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for expediting work orders and requests, scheduling both routine and non-routine electrical and maintenance related projects.
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the information on the new maintenance work orders, determining parts and material requirements, providing a written job plan, cost estimate to include labor and materials so as to complete work in the most efficient manner possible. Communicates information in the Job Plan Package to the Maintenance Foreman or Supervisor and other Maintenance Planners.
  • Support administration of the plant's RPM Program.
  • Maintain open communication with internal customers regarding the RPM Program effectiveness and problems impacting its implementation.
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring that all information needed to support the planning process is complete, accurate and readily available to everyone.
  • Procurement of parts and other supplies needed to maintain an optimum storeroom inventory.
  • Fulfill daily tasks including inventory cycle counts, work request submission, inventory database management, storeroom management, picking/delivering parts from work orders, parts ordering, and maintaining EAM vendor listings, and training of plant associates on Storeroom aspects of RPM.
  • Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, open boxes, crates, shipping containers, move items into and around warehouse and/or storeroom, verify orders placed against packing receipts, check for damage, accept or reject complete or partial shipments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work safely.
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision.
  • Strong communication skills in interactions with all levels of personnel, vendors and contractors.
  • Electrical and general plant maintenance aptitude is a plus.
  • Knowledge of EAM and Oracle is a plus.
