Location: East Chicago, INMonday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pmWhat We're Looking For:As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and consider yourself a go-getter. This position is responsible for maintaining optimized maintenance inventory levels to prevent inventory shortages and overages. The role is fast paced and requires a high sense of urgency in order to support the maintenance department of a lean manufacturing facility. This position must maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers while promoting company values.

- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software - CMMS or inventory management experience preferred
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
A Day in the Life:
- Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work requests
- Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities, including Preventative Maintenance, Corrective work orders & shutdowns
- Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, maintenance costs, and associated asset costs
- Working with engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades
- Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment
- Working with vendors and contractors as needed
- Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
- Oversee maintenance storeroom stocking levels and organization
- Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. Long-range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources
