Position Type: Maintenance/Custodian Date Posted: 9/18/2024 Location: District Wide Date Available: As Soon As Possible Closing Date: Open Until Filled General Description Rockford Area Schools is seeking a Part Time Maintenance/Custodian person to work up to 20 hours weekly during the school year and varied summer schedule hours and then fill in for staff out sick or on vacation. Must have flexible schedule. Custodians will perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties as assigned under the leadership of the Maintenance and Custodian Coordinators. The primary work site would be district wide. Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience as a custodian preferred.
- Able to work for extended periods of time walking and standing.
- Applicants will participate in a background check and provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.

Medical - Single Coverage - District pays $685 toward premium (per 1.0 fte position/pro-rated)
