We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Delivery Technician to join our team at Heirloom. This role involves performing advanced maintenance and repairs across Metro Detroit restaurant facilities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests and staff. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of code compliance pertaining to: HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, and general maintenance practices.
  • Drywall, Painting, Caulking, Powerwashing, Steam Cleaning, Landscaping, Kitchen Repairs, etc….
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clean background check required.
  • Ability to operate upholstery equipment for cleaning on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
  • Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and wet.
  • Capability to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and professionalism.
  • Proactive approach to analyzing and mitigating risks, seeking effective solutions.
  • Punctual, resourceful, and disciplined.
  • Ability to relate to people of all levels and personalities while remaining professional.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building structures and furniture.
  • Manage organization, inventory and cleanliness of Heirloom owned warehouse facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the team, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records through proprietary portal software of maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs.
  • Assist in training and mentoring restaurant leadership in maintenance responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Deliver products daily to various outlets around Metro Detroit and coordinate all requests to and from Heirloom warehouse.
  • Operate and maintain Heirloom owned delivery and transport Promaster Van.
  • Install and uninstall all patio equipment and furniture seasonally at all locations.

Hourly: $20-25.0 Per Hour - Up To 40 Hours Per WeekBenefits:

Schedule:
  • Schedule variability with up to 8 Hour Shifts – Some nights, Weekends and Holidays required
