QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of code compliance pertaining to: HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, and general maintenance practices.
- Drywall, Painting, Caulking, Powerwashing, Steam Cleaning, Landscaping, Kitchen Repairs, etc….
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clean background check required.
- Ability to operate upholstery equipment for cleaning on a bi-monthly basis.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and wet.
- Capability to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
- Exceptional organizational skills and professionalism.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building structures and furniture.
- Manage organization, inventory and cleanliness of Heirloom owned warehouse facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the team, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records through proprietary portal software of maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs.
- Assist in training and mentoring restaurant leadership in maintenance responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Deliver products daily to various outlets around Metro Detroit and coordinate all requests to and from Heirloom warehouse.
- Operate and maintain Heirloom owned delivery and transport Promaster Van.
- Install and uninstall all patio equipment and furniture seasonally at all locations.
