Description:Position Summary: The Facilities Support Dispatch Coordinator's primary responsibility is triage, prioritization, and routing of service requests to the appropriate internal or external service providers. In addition, the Dispatch Coordinator acts as a liaison between the customer and various departments providing support, for example Construction & Environmental. The Dispatch Coordinator also provides support to Facility Managers by providing assistance with capital project administration, where responsibilities would include sourcing vendor proposals, coordinating capital expenditure authorization, and updating budget templates. The Dispatch Coordinator will also have the authority to review and approve vendor proposals and invoices. This position will require a dynamic person with strong communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities: 1. Primary liaison between internal customer and internal/external service providers.2. Ensure that all service requests & dispatches are well documented.3. Work closely with peers and cross functional teams to drive resolution while providing excellent customer service to all.4. Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally.5. Work closely with vendors and internal technicians to determine availability and capabilities to complete service requests.6. Closely monitor work due dates, and manage vendor and internal resources to provide quickest possible response to requests for service.7. The work itself is detail oriented, and requires someone who is deadline-driven and able to manage time constraints. The successful candidate must be goal-oriented, persistent, and with a passion for customer service.Working Relationships: External: Service Vendors, State & Local Government officials; Internal: FSS Field Service Technicians, Environmental, Construction, Gas Marketing, Marketing, A/PRequirements:Minimum Education: High School or equivalentPreferred Education: Bachelor DegreeMinimum Experience:Minimum 2 years customer service, dispatching, and work scheduling experience in a call center environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, WordPreferred Experience: Experienced user of work order management or CMMS systems. Retail or Multi-Store environment experience preferred. Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task, handle stress and pressures of responding to emergency & urgent situations calmly, promptly, and efficiently.Other: Physical: Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard Travel: NoneHours & Conditions: Availability required from 5AM-10PM EST, Mon-Sun. 40 hours per week
