We recognize that our diverse workforce allows us to provide culturally competent care to everyone in our community.The Maintenance Dispatcher serves as the primary liaison for facilities-related service requests and assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the property portfolio for Evergreen Health and its affiliates.This position reports directly to the AVP of Facilities and Emergency Management, who shall determine the responsibilities of this position.As part of the essential functions of this role, the Maintenance Dispatcher :Answers and directs calls from the facilities service line to the appropriate contact within the facilities team and/or dispatches personnel based on immediate needsCreates and schedule work orders, maintenance calls, and service callsMonitors and manages online facilities ticketing system, dispatching, and assigning work orders as neededProvides updates and communication to clients regarding the status of work orders and service calls via the ticketing system, email, or phone. Communicates with other departments, and establishes positive relationships with key contactsKeeps Facilities shared calendar up to dateCreates preventative maintenance work ordersOrders office/kitchen supplies for facilities departmentServes as the backup to Facilities, Maintenance, and Cleaning personnel as neededQualified candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. The candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, patients, board members, vendors and other external contacts. Candidate will have a positive and team-oriented attitude with excellent customer services skills. Candidate will have excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and a strong attention to detail. Candidate will have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds without restriction. The ability to handle sensitive material, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, and displaying sound judgment is essential. Candidate must be proficient with computers and MS software (Outlook, Word) preferred.
