Description The maintenance electrician position is a working manager that supervises and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity. Required Qualifications/Experiences
- Journeyman license or equivalent required
- OSHA10 Safety Certification.
- Other Safety Certifications required for specific tasks and operations.
- Must have Journeyman's License for specified state.
- Attention to detail and initiative to be self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to listen, follow directions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members.
- Ability to assume additional job duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
- Interact in a professional manner with customers, co-workers and other trades.
- Must have extensive working knowledge of current electrical codes.
- Knowledge of all electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code and City Codes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety briefings
- Maintain safe working conditions at all times.
- Maintain condition, functionality and use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Supervises and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers' specifications, and written and verbal instructions.
- Plans and schedules work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
- Assists in the establishment of preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
- Prepares reports and analyses indicating work progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- Responsible for material lists, quotes and other documentation for projects
- Responsible for daily communication with customer
- Responsible for reporting daily progress through reports to both CDL and customer
- Performs electrical duties when applicable and needed to meet the needs of the customer
- Maintains personal appearance and attitude at all times
- Responds to customer calls after hours and performs required duties
- Other duties may be added as job needs progress for the customer
