Job Title: Maintenance ElectricianJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of high-tech industrial equipment, including robots, high-speed packaging systems, case packers, spoolers, slitters, and printing presses. This role requires expertise in industrial drive troubleshooting, working with 480 volts, AC and DC motors, PLCs, and automation systems.Hard SkillsIndustrial drive troubleshootingWorking with 480 voltsAC and DC motorsPLCsAutomation systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsWork with PLCs, including programming and troubleshooting ladder logic. Modify and optimize PLC programs as needed to improve equipment performance.Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, ensuring seamless operation of automated processes. Address issues related to sensors, actuators, and control systems.Pull wire, bend conduit, and install electrical components according to electrical codes and standards. Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and up to code.Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams to address equipment issues and implement solutions. Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Richmond, Virginia.Work EnvironmentHeavier industrial and not climate controlled. The facility manufactures rolls of paper/cardboard used to make packaging and cartons.
