Any other duties as deemed necessary by the director or supervisorPosition Duties (Not all Inclusive)Install various types of equipment.Repair machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications.Observe mechanical and electrical devices in operation and locate causes of trouble or malfunction.Repair or replace defective parts as required.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments or install special functional and structural parts as required.Lubricate and clean parts as required.Start devices to test their performance as required.Demonstrate the ability to use meters, test equipment and other tools.Maintain a high degree of accuracy when making adjustments, changes, calibrations or aligning equipment.Demonstrate numerical ability needed to make calculations for installation and repair of equipment.Responsible for keeping documentation of work performed.OUR COMMUNITYNacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas and the official Garden Capital of Texas.
