We are a full service supplier meeting the needs and challenges of the North Americaautomotive market for wet type friction materials.We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electronics Technician. While working with our maintenance group you will be responsible for the following:
- Ability to use PC and software to troubleshoot PLC's and robotics.
- Responsible for set up and repair of VFD's (Variable Frequency Drives) and servo controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blue prints and electrical prints.
- Responsible for installing new production equipment along with required wiring.
- Installs, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical breakdowns using electrical prints and multi-meter. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
- Inspects, tests, and assesses the functionality of machinery and equipment.
- Discusses any problems with the machinery or equipment with managers/supervisors.
- Utilizes the preventative maintenance schedule to conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Designs, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Prepares and submits maintenance reports including detailed issue reports.
- Follows all safety procedures and policies. Must be able to operate with a respirator on and maintain cleanliness of all safety equipment.
Requirements- 2-Year certificate from a college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Technical Certificate (Preferred)- Electricians License (Desirable)
