Job DescriptionMaintenance Engineers are in charge of resolving and preventing technical issues while communicatingproperly with other workers and clients in the organization. Most maintenance engineers are part of abig team that deals with making sure that all equipment used by their company is working correctly andup to standards. Moreover, they are required to strictly follow their organization's safety standards andregulations, and lead the way in preventing accidents in the workplace.Work hours: 7:30am - 4pm M-FDuties include but are not limited to:
- Performs general maintenance tasks, ie. Door repair, drywall, paint, light electrical and light plumbing.
- Inspects and diagnoses machine malfunctions.
- Repairs and replaces defective machines or equipment.
- Uses a wide variety of tools and equipment to ensure proper maintenance of machines.
- Record and document type and cost of repair work needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay rate: $27-$30 an hour.Requirements
- 5+ years of directly related experience.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.).
- Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
- Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
