Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location:?Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 + Bonus

What's the Job?

• Assist process engineers and supervisors in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the Melt Shop.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production.
• Develop and implement new standards, structures, systems, and equipment.
• Facilitate training sessions on improvement methodologies and tools for all employees.
• Coordinate improvement activities with supervisors and staff to enhance operational performance.

What's Needed?

• A four-year degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Material Science.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of steel manufacturing methods and heavy mill machinery.
• Experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, and maintenance.
• Ability to train and coach employees effectively.
