Join Our Team as a Maintenance Engineer!

We are seeking a talented and motivated Maintenance Engineer to enhance our Maintenance Department. If you're passionate about engineering support and want to make a real impact on equipment reliability and plant processes, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or maintenance environment, ideally in an engineering or maintenance support role.
  • A blend of education and relevant experience will also be considered.

What You'll Do:

Drive Capital Projects

  • Take the lead in specifying, designing, and managing installations that enhance plant equipment and processes, boosting productivity and reducing operating costs.
  • Craft compelling capital cost justifications to support impactful improvements.

Enhance Preventive Maintenance

  • Develop, document, and optimize preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and throughput.
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement strategic corrective actions while leveraging the CMMS system to continuously improve PM effectiveness.

Provide Technical Expertise

  • Offer valuable technical support to maintenance personnel during troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring smooth operations.

Forecast Spare Parts Needs

  • Anticipate spare parts requirements and collaborate with the Tool Room to effectively manage inventory based on critical equipment needs.

Evaluate Equipment Needs

  • Assess and recommend upgrades, rebuilds, and replacements for equipment to ensure peak performance.

Coordinate Projects

  • Work collaboratively with engineering resources, operations, maintenance staff, and contractors to schedule and oversee projects seamlessly.

Additional Opportunities:

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in planning and supervising both internal and external maintenance services, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain our work order system and actively participate in safety, environmental, and ISO audits.
  • Engage in key administrative activities related to employee safety, development, and organizational objectives.
  • Champion lean, quality, and teamwork initiatives to foster a culture of excellence within the plant.
