Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading CRE owner to hire a Maintenance Engineer- Union position.

Your new role

The job duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include, among others:

• Oversight of maintenance activities at a Class A Asset office space in Manhattan
• Facilities Maintenance- Light electrical, painting, plastering, plumbing, building structures
• Work with 3rd party vendors and Chief Engineer on special projects
• Daily site walk-throughs, hands-on maintenance, to ensure top-notch facility

What you ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

• Strong experience supporting a commercial office space is key
• Day shift: Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM
• Must obtain an FDNY Certificate of Fitness if not already in possession
• **Position is Local 32BJ Union eligible**

What you'll get in return

Hourly rate between $32-$35, Retirement, Health, PTO.
