Description We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs, including filter changes, belt replacements, and system testing
- Conduct high voltage electrical work in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Paint and perform minor carpentry/drywall work
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist Safety department to ensure safe work areas
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in working with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for accurate repairs and installations
