Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

Performs various maintenance tasks to support Production and Facilities at both Delavan locations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Clean machine sumps, wash tanks, and test stations per maintenance schedule using sump sucker, vacuum, and hot water high pressure sprayer.

* Complete tasks submitted through the work order system.

* Perform basic PM to specified machines per schedule.

* Assist Maintenance Technicians as required

* Make RO water and coolant as needed and monitor the process for recycling coolant and replace inlet filter as needed.

* Maintain centrifuge for recycling coolant.

* Take samples of coolant on a regular basis and send into lab for analysis.

* Take coolant refractory readings once per week and document at the machine.

* Check machine oil weekly and top off as necessary. Document in maintenance software program.

* Check and fill machine waylube tanks three times per week.

* Inventory fluids and inform the department coordinator for ordering new and for disposal of contaminated waste coolant.

* Emptying bulk condensate tanks at the compressors and in the centrifugal department.

* Emptying, cleaning, and organizing the pressure wash bay.

* All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Mechanical aptitude and skills are essential.

* Ability to read, write and process all instructions.

* Ability to plan logical sequences, analyze problems and implement diversified repair, modification or maintenance to correct the situation.

* Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate aerial and scissor lifts is mandatory for this position.

* Ability to manipulate machine controls to position equipment to allow for cleaning, or willingness to learn.

* Must have basic computer skills and knowledge.

* Ability to use lifting and moving equipment as required.

* Ability to follow all EHS/safety guidelines including but not limited to safe crane/hoist operation, proper lifting techniques, following all PPE requirements.

* Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

* Quality oriented mindset, with a high level of attention to detail.

* Ability to troubleshoot and make needed offset/programming adjustments.

* Ability to complete all tasks in a safe and accurate manner.

* Demonstrated successful quality performance.

* Willingness to work overtime as needed and alter hours as business needs dictate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Specific PPE is required within the cell.
