Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for 2 Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Co-ops at the Greenville Lumber Mill. We are partnering with Pitt Community College - Winterville to build a talent pipeline. We are seeking applicants with a desire to work in the Industrial Maintenance field and currently studying at the school in the Industrial Technology program or Electrical Systems Technology. This is an excellent professional development opportunity. Key Co-op Expectations:

Qualifications
  • Current student in a technical program at Pitt Community College
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to commit to working onsite a minimum of 25 Hours per week
  • Must be able to commit to attending classes at the Pitt Community College - Winterville campus two days per week
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • High level of initiative and motivation
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Willingness to work in challenging environments (outdoor temperature extremes)
  • Commitment to follow all unit maintenance practices Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays May not work more than 40 hours per week
