This individual should have familiarity with inventory maintenance and a thorough understanding of intermediate mathematics; safe work practices are required. The position works closely with all departments and reports to the Maintenance Manager, based out of our Springdale, Arkansas location.Primary Responsibilities include:Coordinates the daily operations of the company maintenance stockroom, which provides a wide variety of equipment parts utilized by company team members. Organization is a key factor in this position.Request quotes, verify pricing and maintain inventory accuracy of part order requests. Process and issue purchase orders to vendors.Maintains the Maintenance checkbook to include issuing POs, verification, and entry of invoices.Coordinates and signs off on service repairs with the forklift provider as assigned by work order request.Sources and meets with new vendors to obtain services or cost improvements.Performs monthly inventory count of maintenance chemical supplies and updates database inventory.Performs facility/equipment safety inspections as assigned.Ensures adequate inventory levels of stock parts and helps identify and prioritize immediate equipment repairs vs stock parts.Assists in updating CMMS eMaint inventory and distributes parts to work orders.Unpacks maintenance part deliveries, stocks team member bins, and processes receiving of parts.Maintains parts room cleanliness and organization on a regular basis, including housekeeping.Manages stock level of parts, reviews maintenance stocking levels, trends, and obsolete items.Picks up and delivers parts as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMinimum Required QualificationsA high school diploma or GEDMust successfully complete and pass forklift safety trainingPrevious inventory control experienceBasic computer skills - using MS Outlook Mail, and MS Word and ExcelAbility to work independently with limited supervision, working in a team environment.Additional Preferred QualificationsExperience in the food/beverage industryPrevious experience in Manufacturing or production environmentConsultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONSThis position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting.FREQUENT: Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and/or crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in the area of responsibility. Exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature (seasonal).OCCASIONAL: Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask, and perform Confined Entry using LOTO program.
