Responsibilities:

IDEMIA is looking for an experienced and motivated Inventory Coordinator to oversee and assist in the procurement and tracking of materials for our maintenance team

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr - dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

  • The Responsible for managing the flow of maintenance related materials into, through, and out of the maintenance store room.
  • Additionally, responsible for initiating and tracking purchase requisitions from inception to being stocked on the shelves.
  • Responsible for database management of maintenance physical inventory via CMMS.
  • Uses 5-S Principles to gain control of, then maintain, critical spare parts inventory.
  • Get quotes, write Purchase Requisitions, track Purchase Orders, and stock shipments when received.
  • Maintain accurate e-based inventory tracking system.
  • Ship defective parts out for repair and track progress of same.
  • Research parts to find new vendors, use multiple vendors for cost saving.
  • Use technical writing skills to effectively communicate with vendors and colleagues.
  • Coordinate with the PM Supervisor on upcoming PMs, pull spare parts and kit for specific PM tasks.
  • Other duties as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • College degree in a technical field preferred
  • Must be able to multiple task in a fast paced environment
  • Intermediate level of proficienct in Microsoft Excel - advanced proficiency preferred
