Noble County Commissioners is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance & Janitorial staff member to ensure that our multiple buildings are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to provide a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Cleaning Duties: - Perform general cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, sweeping, in common areas, restrooms and offices. - Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, and office areas regularly. - Dispose of waste according to established guidelines.Maintenance Tasks: - Conduct routine inspections of the buildings. - Assist with maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, fixing leaks, and performing upkeep on building facilities. - Ensure that all tools and supplies are maintained and stored properly. - Maintaining courthouse lawn and landscaping.Safety Compliance: - Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks. - Use appropriate equipment as required.Communication: - Communicate with management/team members regarding schedules, maintenance needs, and safety concerns. - Collaborate with staff members to coordinate special cleaning operations as needed.Qualifications: - Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work is preferred but not required. - Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge. - Ability to work independently and take initiative. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Flexible work schedule.Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Health Benefits and paid time off - Allowance reimbursement - Opportunities for professional development and training.Multiply ways to apply: - Email Resume to ...@noblecountyohio.gov or ...@noblecountyohio.gov - Drop off resumes at Noble County Courthouse, Commissioners office room 210. - Apply at OhioMeansJobsDeadline: October 16, 2024
