Olsten Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Maintenance Technician for the Effingham area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and follow maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machine maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including wiring, controls, and PLCs.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
