MaintenanceReporting Relationship:Reports to: General Manager, Director of Engineering, Facilities Manager, and Plant Managers Supervises: NoneJob Summary:The Maintenance maintains and repairs processing and warehouse equipment, i.e. all handling and power equipment. The performance of necessary preventative maintenance to all pertinent equipment.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Repairs: Performs all repairs on forklifts, product racks, fork trucks, maintenance equipment and all other power equipment to ensure availability. Equipment is maintained in a safe manner to minimize employee accidents or injuries.Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Assists in the tear down, repair, and reassembly of all engine room components.Building: Maintain building electrical system. Performs maintenance or general carpentry to items such as doors, floors, docks, dock levelers, overhead doors, freezer doors, roof, down spouts, product racks, and so forth.Reporting: Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.Qualifications:Experience or Training Required: Individual with good mechanical aptitude as demonstrated on prior positions with other companies.License or Certificate Required:Forklift CertificationMandatory Job Requirements:The requirements that an individual must absolutely possess to perform the essential functions of the job.

Able to read and understand schematic diagrams

Capable of using a wide variety of hand tools

Capable of using various electric/mechanical testing devices

Must be certified to operate a forklift

Work effectively with a group
