High School Diploma 2. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities 3. Such other qualifications as the Board/Superintendent may deem appropriate Reports To: Director of Buildings and Grounds Performance Responsibilities: 1. Assumes responsibility for overseeing general security and energy conservation program. 2. Keeps buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas free from safety hazards. 3. Makes such repairs as assigned to maintenance department. 4. Keeps an inventory of all supplies. 5. Reports immediately to principal any damage or vandalism to school property. 6. Complies with local laws and procedures for the safe storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, waste and fuel. 7. Moves furniture or equipment between buildings and makes all necessary and emergency runs within the District. 8. Responds to calls for assistance and gives aid as needed during the course of the day. 9. Maintains a regular schedule of deliveries, preventive maintenance and safety checks. 10. Models a program of energy conservation. 11. Lifts seventy-five (75) pounds on occasion as necessary, appropriate, or as directed by an administrator. 12. Maintains positive public relations with the community, staff and students. 13. Maintains a positive attitude toward job related growth and improvement. 14. Performs other such tasks as assigned by the Superintendent. Terms of employment: Twelve months.
