Job Summary: The Maintenance position is based at the Leonard Mount Airy Plant, with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for strategically overseeing and optimizing the company's fleet operations, including maintenance, personnel management, route planning, compliance, and budgeting, to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of shed buildings and truck accessories while meeting industry standards. This position reports directly to the plant manager and does not have direct reports. Job Responsibilities:
- Executes scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules.
- Responds promptly to equipment breakdowns and facility issues, diagnosing and resolving problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborates with production teams to prioritize and address immediate maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing machinery and support equipment.
- Conducts regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Performs routine inspections and maintenance of the facility, including plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and general repairs.
- Coordinates with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Ensures that all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Identifies and addresses safety hazards promptly, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Maintains an organized inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies for maintenance activities.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in maintenance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

- Capability to bend, stoop, and reach while performing maintenance tasks or accessing equipment.
- Extended periods of standing and walking to inspect machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and address facility issues.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance tasks, requiring good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to climb ladders or access elevated areas to perform maintenance activities.
- Endurance to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance, including walking, lifting, and using tools for extended periods.
- Good vision to inspect machinery and identify potential issues, read equipment manuals, and work on detailed tasks.
