Mechanic Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage

• Work on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs

• Inspect equipment and systems for repair

• Apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems

• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

• Maintain shop area in a neat and orderly manner

• Available for limited call ins and occasionally to work outside normal schedule.

Mechanic Shift Info

• Day Shift, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

• Monday - Friday

Mechanic Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Mechanic experience preferred

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to work in the US

• Work with hydraulic, mechanical repairs and carpentry

• Assist Maintenance personnel with major projects

• Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity

• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building

• Grounds keeping skills if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance

• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner

• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in a timely manner and any warning signs of problems are not overlooked

• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US
