Position Summary: The Maintenance position is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of facilities. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain a safe, comfortable, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines and equipment continue to run smoothly, buildings systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision and electrical testing devices.
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and/or electrical components, plumbing, machinery or equipment.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and/or power tools and reassemble equipment.
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
