Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance LeadDepartment: MaintenanceReports To: Plant ManagerSummary The Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring the continuous flow of the maintenance department by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment and assigning tasks to maintenance technicians according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program
- Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program
- Follows all procedures & work instructions
- Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s)
- Lead, train, coach and support the maintenance team
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors
- Control and monitor spare parts inventory
- Encourages and promote a positive work environment
- Ability to work overtime when required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical degree or training preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a supervisory role and/or proven leadership competency
- Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
- Experience with PLC controllers and process instrumentation
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work in the US
