They are currently looking for a Maintenance Lead in their Salt Lake City location. This company has a long history of hiring military talent from RecruitMilitary. The Maintenance Lead estimates and schedules preventative and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and service systems to increase uptime and minimize unscheduled downtime. This position supervises maintenance, mechanical, and or electrical staff. The facility operates 4 days/ 10-hour shift schedules operating 2 shifts daily with overtime as needed or required. They are currently looking for folks for day and night shift.Principle accountabilities:- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies with a focus on cost controls- Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees- Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are accomplished and repairs are completed- Establish and maintain maintenance budgets- Recommend capital improvements including assisting the design and installation of new equipment- Ensure maintenance crew understands and is able to troubleshoot all machine jobs and is fully trained on mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment use, adjustments, and unique situations.- Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are understood and executed by all employeesLooking for folks who have strong hands on experience, but also Team Lead or higher leadership from the military. Electrical folks are the priory. Medium voltage or lower is needed. This is leadership role but they want someone who is willing to jump in and help with maintenance as well.$80 - $100K based on skill level.
