CO Salary Range: USD 18.00 - 18.00 per hourWith a culture of recognition and reputation for excellence, ELS is the ideal organization in which to develop a long and successful career!ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance - Level I in Pueblo, Colorado.What you'll do:We are looking for a Maintenance Tech Lead, preferably with 5 years experience in the apartment or manufactured home industry. In this position, you perform various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including HVAC repairs and adjustments, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, appliance repair, groundskeeping and more. You will work as a team participant to ensure that the community meets the company's quality maintenance standardsYour job will include:

  • Attend morning staff meetings and communicate regularly and professionally with management and staff.
  • Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed to company standards and that service requests are handled in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all community mechanical equipment, including common buildings, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc. and ensure park equipment and assets are in good order.
  • Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
  • Respond to guest concerns with respect and courtesy.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
  • Attend and participate in training programs as requested.
  • Assist management with special maintenance projects.
  • Perform on-all emergency services as required.
  • You will be required to move heavy objects and drive maintenance trucks to various locations on and off the property.
  • Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Skills & experience you need:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
