Maintenance - Level II (Full-Time) - Highview in The Woodlands CampusReports to: Director of Facilities and GroundsLocation: Highview in The WoodlandsSummary:To perform maintenance duties, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment or facility repairs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities,include but are not limited to:Perform basic electrical repairs, such as GFI replacement, outlet replacement, switch replacement, and basic troubleshooting.Perform basic plumbing repairs; repair/replace sink and shower faucets, repair/replace toilets, repair/replace sink drains, and basic troubleshooting.Maintain and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment; replace filters, Aprilaire elements, thermostats (air and electrical), and air handler belts.Perform minor drywall repairs.Complete basic carpentry work; fit and replace doors.Perform all Maintenance level I functions.Maintain a safe and productive work environment.Assist with the resident relation program; handle all resident concerns promptly and keep the Director of Facilities and Grounds informed of all resident issues.Complete all special assignments/projects as required by the Director of Facilities and Grounds.Performance Measurements:Job KnowledgeCommunicationQuality of WorkAdaptabilityQuantity of WorkTeamworkCustomer ServiceSafetyInitiativeResident SatisfactionMinimum Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent. Some college or technical preparation is preferred.Minimum of five years experience in building maintenance with an emphasis on carpentry, painting, electrical wiring, and plumbing.Knowledge of heating and cooling systems.Ability to anticipate and/or troubleshoot problems.General knowledge of simple equipment used in the building trades.Physical Requirements:Manual dexterity sufficient to perform repairs.Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Vision (with correction) sufficient for reading and performing repairs.Other Regulated Requirements:Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check, including (MVR) moving vehicle records.Must have or be willing to receive the Flu-Shot Vaccine and TB testing.Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis.Must be willing to undergo biometric screening.Wesley Willows and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity Employer.Wesley Willows and its affiliates operate Drug & Alcohol-free campuses.#J-18808-Ljbffr
