Job Description:Duties & Responsibilities include and are not limited to:- Machine and precision grind pieces and parts, as requested by the supervisor, to tolerances within .0001 when required.
- Required to read complicated blueprints from which to grind and make all tooling necessary for transfer to work.
- Must maintain stocks of materials required and report shortages of same to the supervisor.
- Responsible for keeping the machines, tooling, and work area(s) clean and returning parts and equipment to designated storage areas.
- Required to complete forms and reports as directed by the supervisor.
- Assist other Company maintenance personnel if a special need arises in electrical or mechanical maintenance work.
- Ability to read and write and to make use of complicated drawings and specifications.
- Ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments as required
- Ability to independently plan and perform very involved, complex work and to devise new methods to meet new conditions which necessitate a high degree of ingenuity, initiative and judgment.
- Must be able to single point threads (metric and standard) on lathes.
- Must be able to use 4 jaw chuck on a lathe.
- Ability to machine plastics (UHMW; Delrin; Nyloil) on a lathe or milling machine.
- Ability to work with Garrolite or Phenolic materials.
Job Requirements:- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) or more years of experience covering the requirements of the primary responsibility.
- Successful candidates will need to complete a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and work tolerance screening.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, push, pull, bend and walk up and down steps for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate machinery/equipment.
- Visual acuity to operate and/or inspect products and machinery/equipment.
Working Conditions:- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment (hot and cold conditions).
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed.
- Must adhere to all site policies and safety standards.

Pay Range:$51,958.00-$60,265.00
