We're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Assistant/Fabricator to join our team and help maintain the functionality of our production equipment while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. We believe that our people are what makes us great and strive to offer our employees opportunities for advancement.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as per the PM schedule to ensure smooth operations.Participate in continuous improvement activities on workstations, optimizing efficiency and performance.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues on various machines and equipment.Accurately record corrective actions in our maintenance software system for documentation and future reference.Proactively identify safety hazards and take necessary steps to repair unsafe conditions in the workplace.Maintain detailed records of repairs on preventative maintenance forms to track the health of equipment.Provide proper lighting and racking to work areas, enhancing safety and organization.Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the team and the overall company.Minimum Qualifications:Grade 12 (or equivalent) education.Ability to read and write English clearly and accurately.Required Skills:Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools.Experience with machining and basic welding tasks.Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) standards and safe handling of materials.Familiarity with injection molding machines and their auxiliary equipment.Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems relevant to maintenance functions.Ability to properly manage forms, tags, and labels related to maintenance tasks.Welding and fabrication skills are a must for repairing and modifying equipment as necessary.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity for growth and professional development.Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.Be a key player in maintaining high-quality, efficient production processes.If you're a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a strong maintenance background, we want to hear from you!
