Job DescriptionAs a Night shift Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required. standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures. You work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties. Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, pneumatics,
- Excellent understanding/knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Excellent understanding of preventative maintenance; Excellent math, reading and blueprint reading skills; solid understanding of PLC's as well as PM software utilization.
- Problem solving skills essential to fixing production equipment and manufacturing system issues; high level of energy and the ability to handle several urgent tasks at once.
- Computer knowledge preferred, capable of learning Windows/Web based programs.
- Must be a team player, also capable of working with minimal supervision when required.
- Experiencing maintaining cranes and performing crane inspections
- Capable of safely rigging and moving some heavy equipment components.
- Some hands-on experience using MP2 preventative maintenance systems software.
- OSHA/OHSA knowledge preferred.

- Provides general support to production through maintenance of plant equipment. This is a multi-craft position; you will be expected to perform all maintenance functions.
- Perform all preventative and predictive maintenance and repairs to all equipment according to company expectations in order to ensure equipment is properly serviced and will have the proper lifespan.
- Responds quickly to breakdowns and safety concerns, resolves issues and reduces any possible downtime to a minimum.
- Monitors operations through PM checks to anticipate and prevent any possible production loss due to equipment failure.
- Report deviations, out of service or non-conforming equipment or operations based on departmental procedure in order for the maintenance team to make corrections or adjustments to processes and equipment appropriately.
- Maintain a spare parts warehouse according to company expectations to ensure that all crucial parts and components, including consumables are on hand at a moment's notice.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- High frequency of visual monitoring of production processes
- High frequency of visual monitoring for quality defects. High frequency of visual monitoring of HMI panels and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) driven panels
- Regular frequency of visual monitoring of scrap conditions/types
- Frequent data entry of necessary information
- Frequent visual and audio monitoring of processes
- Low frequency of hot metal work
- Low frequency of confined space entry
- Low frequency lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Low frequency use of forklift/mobile equipment; physical demands include low frequency lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and reaching into/working in tight areas.
- Low frequency climbing over 4 feet.
- Low frequent operation of overhead crane
- Wearing of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment, as required
- Must be able to work a 12-hour continental shift.
- Mostly Indoor work with constant exposure to outside elements; some outdoor work
- Long-term exposure to high and low temperatures
- Long-term exposure to loud noises
- Some exposure to fumes
- Some work in confined spaces
