Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage Mason City maintenance department team (Maintenance Lead, Technicians and Janitor). Maintain a positive and motivational work environment and work with the team on any performance or attendance issues. Areas of concern are Safety, Schedule, production, and time utilization in cooperation with plant production team.
- Provides hands on maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems related to the production equipment, including PLC controls, AC & DC motors and drives, mixer controls and all other electrical systems.
- Responsible for building, equipment and grounds. Ensures the facility and equipment are in reliable and clean condition as well as neat in appearance year-round. Participates in vendor / contractor communications and related decision-making activities. Responsible for maintaining adequate spare parts and equipment as well as the purchase of resupply and replacement parts and equipment.
- Maintains maintenance procedures and practices as well as the maintenance of the MP2 Preventive Maintenance Program and predictive/preventive maintenance activity and spare parts inventory including close communication with all other departments and supervisors in daily reporting on progress of projects and repair items.
- Participates in the Mason City Safety, Lean Systems and Environmental Programs. Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations, provides prompt corrective action and training for any known hazards. Supports Trelleborg Strategic Action Plans, objectives and goals
