Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and project profitability.
2. Financial Reporting and Controls:
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
3. Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for ongoing construction projects.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing.
4. Cost Control and Analysis:
- Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce construction costs.
5. Financial Systems and Technology:
- Utilize SAGE and Sage 300 software to manage construction financials effectively.
- Maintain and update financial systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Provide training and support to team members on financial software and tools.
Qualifications: Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction financial management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction industry financials, including project budgets, costs, and revenue recognition.
- Proficient in using SAGE and Sage 300 software for construction accounting.
