This role includes ensuring that capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while also maintaining the overall health of the facility's assets. As a key member of the plant leadership team, the Maintenance Manager is expected to be a strategic partner to the Plant Manager.Job Responsibilities:Ensure that maintenance work is conducted safely, meets quality standards, and stays within budget and timelinesImplement preventive maintenance plans and preservation activities, including lubrication, inspections, testing, and PMDUtilize predictive measures to enhance reliabilityAct swiftly to address breakdowns and unexpected issuesImplement and support continuous reliability improvement standards and practicesAssist in planned work preparation to minimize unplanned downtime and enhance machine performanceMaintain the upkeep of facilities and groundsEnsure compliance with state regulations regarding water dischargeFacilitate problem-solving sessions among operations, engineering, and maintenance to address and eliminate recurring failuresLead the maintenance team to ensure they focus on the right priorities while working safely and maintaining quality standardsAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesRequired Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredMinimum of 3 years leadership experiencePreferred Skills/Qualifications:Basic understanding of safety principles and risk recognitionFamiliarity with quality standards and housekeeping/organizational skillsBasic computer skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of CMMS, MVP, and blueprint readingUnderstanding of PLCs and proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systemsAbility to obtain project estimates and experience in project managementStrong ability to work collaboratively in a team and delegate tasks effectivelyExcellent communication skillsCapable of leading and guiding others in decision-making and problem-solving
