Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager near the Elmira NY area for their Food Manufacturing Plant. This is a Plant of about 100 persons with a 7-8 person Maintenance Department. The Manager will lead the maintenance operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure the seamless functioning of plant equipment, The Manager will be collaborating across departments to resolve maintenance issues & implement proactive maintenance programs, As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in scheduling and directing maintenance technicians, maintaining and repairing all aspects of plant equipment and facility, and continuously seeking out improvements to enhance plant processes. This is a 8-9 hour, Day Shift position working Monday - Friday.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Schedules and directs all maintenance technicians. Coordinates maintenance schedules
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve maintenance problems to keep manufacturing equipment operating with an efficient manner.
- Reviews various reports/work orders and confers, when needed, with the Operations/Plant Manager to review problems and ensure corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Assures, maintains, and repairs all aspects of the plant equipment and facility.
- Revise and maintain a PM program for all necessary equipment in the plants. This includes Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual equipment PMs to schedule and execute.
- Coordinates maintenance department inventory to be certain adequate supply of material and repair parts are in stock to reduce production downtime.
- Continually seek out improvements to be applied to plant processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors, Associates or Trade School Certification Preferred
- 3+ Years of Maintenance Supervision / Management Experience - preferably in Food / Beverage or CPG Manufacturing
- 5 Years overall Maintenance Experience in Manufacturing
- Proficiency with a CMMS & how to implement Maintenance Schedules & PM Programs
