Maintenance Manager

A great manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager with experience in manufacturing that utilizes equipment and electronics such as: Motors, Drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics experience.
We are looking for someone who loves to be hands-on and who is willing to work side by side with their team when needed for training and during emergency situations. This is just a really good company to work for.
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities
Schedule Preventative Maintenance.
Mentor and supervise the maintenance techs in their training and daily activities
Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment that isnt working properly (primarily when the technicians are having problems).
Work with outside contractors for new equipment installation
Ensure spare parts and preventative maintenance items are on hand and managed.
Train maintenance staff as well as supervisors or operators on maintenance items.
Support and enforce facility safety systems.
Required skills and qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor / Manager:
5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
3 years of supervision experience.
Plastics experience is preferred, but we will consider any industry background if you have a strong knowledge of maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment that have AC electric motors, DC drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, PLC/HMI controls, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics experience.
Direct involvement with Preventative Maintenance programs, Predictive Maintenance Programs, Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS).
Direct involvement with safety systems as it relates to maintenance (supervision), such as LOTO.
