Company Overview: TekPro is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in a confidential search for a Maintenance Manager. TekPro is an executive search team specializing in engineering, maintenance, and operations positions within the manufacturing industry. Our client operates a large, multi-site facility and is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take charge of their maintenance operations.

Position Overview: The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring equipment reliability, adherence to safety protocols, and the efficient operation of facilities. This position is critical to optimizing production processes and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-site maintenance team, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules for all machinery and facilities to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment reliability and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage and oversee the department's budget, including cost control for repairs, parts, labor, and equipment upgrades.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance operations, processes, and equipment performance.
  • Develop training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high skill levels and up-to-date technical expertise.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely availability of necessary materials and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of maintenance management experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a multi-site operation.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing large teams.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data-driven maintenance strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
