Job DescriptionWe are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the confectionery industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Maintenance Manager to their team. Responsibilities include:1) Prioritize safety through leadership, work procedures and employee safety programs2) Foster a collaborative working environment across all departments of the organization3) Drive a continuous improvement mindset4) Lead, manage and develop the Maintenance Team to ensure they have the resources, skills and support required5) Provide clear and active leadership and coaching to drive high standards of operation6) Optimize department costs through effective resource planning and management7) Prepare, review and approve cost estimates, budgets, bids, and contracts8) Maintain and continuously improve the manufacturing facilities and equipment enabling the organization to deliver on key performance standards9) Focus on reducing equipment downtime through the design and implementation of preventative maintenance programs10) Manage the maintenance, repair and operations stockroom optimizing inventory levels11) Manage facility and maintenance work performed by outside vendors12) Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the maintenance and technical work performedCritical Requirements1) A university degree is required.
