We are a leading industrial machinery manufacturer specializing in hydraulic parts, known for our commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our operations team. This role will focus on leading the maintenance team to ensure safety, quality, and productivity are maintained at the highest levels. The ideal candidate will serve as a role model in leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and follow up on all production maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all equipment meets safety requirements and that all jobs adhere to company safety guidelines; participate as a key member of the safety team.

  • Review and approve maintenance plans for production equipment and facilities, ensuring completion of all maintenance tasks and managing action plans to address workload and backlog.

  • Establish performance criteria in line with management guidelines.

  • Develop maintenance strategies for scheduled shutdowns and major repairs, managing the execution of these plans.

  • Address immediate actions during unexpected failures and emergency repairs; coordinate resources efficiently for timely results.

  • Hire, direct, and manage maintenance employees, evaluating performance related to timeliness, cost, and quality.

  • Build a capable maintenance team and provide necessary training for maintenance employees.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and authorize modifications to equipment to optimize operating conditions and reduce costs and energy consumption.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for parts, equipment, and materials, establishing vendor-managed inventory where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel; capable of performing data analysis using Pareto and other statistical methods.

  • Minimum 2-year associate degree or equivalent with at least five years of manuf production experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred, or other certifications w/ 10 years of equivalent work experience.

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.

  • Ability to conduct root cause failure analysis and utilize analytical techniques to optimize equipment uptime.

  • Extensive experience with PLCs and equipment controls is highly desired.

  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and practices.

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and variance analysis is desirable.

  • Proven abilities in TPM, SMED, 5S, and OEE metrics.

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong project management skills.

  • Significant experience in developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $105 - $135k

  • Bonus: Significant bonus based on performance

  • Benefits Package: Includes 401(k) with matching, health, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, and flexible spending accounts.

  • Typical Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; some nights or weekends may be required.
