A national manufacturer wants a military veteran to run its Maintenance program. A strong candidate should be able to:- Work with Operations to plan maintenance repairs necessary to provide safe, reliable equipment to meet and exceed customer's needs- Manage maintenance mechanic staff required to maintain off-highway equipment- Must be able to schedule mechanics in a 24/7 operation- Schedule, plan, and ensure compliance with corporate mandated preventive maintenance program- Must be knowledgeable of all costs associated with the operating of off-highway equipment- Will be responsible for hiring qualified maintenance mechanics to meet the needs of the customer- Adhere to corporate maintenance policies, and provide maintenance staff with the tools and education to achieve this goal- Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects, decision-making, though swift, is very calculated and singular, with little reliance on consensus or collaborating opinions- Ideal candidate must have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic background- Candidate must be able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics- The candidate must also have the ability to function both effectively and independently as a member of a cross-functional team demonstrating teamwork and communication skills with a commitment to cooperation and collaboration among business functions.- They must be proficient with Microsoft Office software - Candidate must have strong oral and written skills, good analytic skillsBase salary, with 12.5% bonus and a monthly car allowance of $550
