Maintenance Manager

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager at their Tarboro, NC facility. In this role, you will supervise all categories of maintenance involving machines, equipment, plant and office facilities, and grounds.- Oversee maintenance services to ensure uninterrupted workflow in the plant and offices- Plan and set up work schedules- Specify and utilize department CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for Preventative Maintenance scheduling, work order flow and tracking as well as data collection- Evaluate CMMS data for recommendations of equipment and procedures for improving maintenance and reducing costs- Provide the required leadership to move the Maintenance Department down the path of continuous improvement- Oversee functions such as machine installations and repair, machining parts for repair of equipment, welding, brazing, soldering, sheet metal work, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, concrete work, gardening, grounds maintenance, preventative maintenance, office maintenance and plant janitor services-Train subordinates, assign and check work, maintain discipline and enforce safety and good housekeeping regulations- Recommend hiring, dismissals, transfers and upgrading- Establish good personnel relations and ensure continuous maintenance of high morale, efficiency, and harmonious operations- Rate personnel performance in accordance with established procedures- Ensure strict adherence to the company rules and regulations- Plan, schedule and assign work and keep close check on progress to have the minimum possible interruption of normal activities in the plant and offices- Work from drawings and sketches provided by Engineering and/or make sketches of work to be done, estimate labor costs and calculate materials required- Coordinate the work on major projects to ensure that assigned tasks are performed according to established schedulesThey want a strong leader with experience running PM programs.Monday - Friday , 7 am - 4 pm position.
