Maintenance Manager

The leading supplier of products specified to close the building envelope is looking for a Maintenance Manager. This person will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible for planning and scheduling predictive and preventative maintenance activities to optimize productivity and reliability of equipment while minimizing downtime in all departments. This person will supervise and coordinate all workers and activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery.Additional responsibilities include:- Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and maintenance workflow.- Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, generating purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the department budget.- Ensure that all personnel, prior to the start of shift, are wearing the correct safety equipment and that safety awareness is maintained throughout the shift. Confirm that employees have been instructed on the proper safety procedures.- Report to the Plant Manager any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to get scheduled for repair.- Mentor and train technicians to improve performance, document poor performance where necessary, and create performance improvement plans for poor performers. - Interview and hire new technicians for team when necessary. - Safety of department members and OSHA compliance including management of programs like Lock Out /Tag Out, electrical safety, cranes and hoists, fall protection, Haz Mat, and others.- Utilize a CMMS to record maintenance.Full Benefits, 401K, Potential Performance Bonus
