We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and manage the processes necessary to meet our operational needs. This role involves overseeing staff, equipment, facilities, and safety, while ensuring timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop maintenance staff, ensuring proper training and professional conduct.
- Schedule shifts based on skill sets, conduct performance evaluations, and track training progress.
- Oversee daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency procedures.
- Manage Maintenance Assistant Software, work orders, and equipment repairs.
- Maintain and optimize inventory levels for maintenance needs, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Serve on the Safety Committee, conduct machinery audits, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
