Maintenance Manager
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to join our team and ensure our property remains in pristine condition. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our hotel's success and play a pivotal role in setting the stage for our guest's exceptional stay.
Responsibilities
Oversee Maintenance Operations:
Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
Lead a Team:
Supervise and motivate a team of maintenance professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Ensure Guest Satisfaction:
Prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction by addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Team-Player:
Collaborate with all team members to ensure smooth operations and provide an exceptional guest experience. Foster effective communication to add to the team culture of service.
Operational Excellence:
Uphold and demonstrate our high standards of operational efficiency and effectiveness to manage maintenance operations. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to better the guest and employee experience.
Manage Budgets:
Adhere to maintenance budgets, optimizing costs while maintaining high standards.
Stay Up to Date:
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and best practices in hotel maintenance.
Responsible to the Hotel and to fulfill other related duties as required to support the overall goals of the department.
Qualifications
o Required certification: FLSD, S12, S13, C92
o Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
o Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
o A positive attitude and passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment,
o Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
o Strong leadership and communication skills.
